Bruce has used this traditional theme as the basis of an allegorical

bridge between East and West, the Orient and the Occident. The 2 figures turned inward represent the graceful life expressions of the 2 hemispheres, each immersed in their own culture and way of life. She, with open arms, is the common denominator, the uniting bridge.

The bases of the three figures interlock and can stand independently. They are also available as such.
